Hontai Yoshin Ryu

HONTAI YŌSHIN RYŪ (本體楊心流) is a traditional JŪJUTSU (柔術) school, also incorporating the long staff, the short staff, knife, short sword, long sword and rope bindings . It is a KOBUDŌ (古武道), member of the Nihon Kobudo Kyokai which is owned by the Nippon Budokan.

The school was founded in the 17th century and currently the main dojo (sohombu dojo) is located in Nishinomiya, Japan, where INOUE Kyoichi Munenori (井上 恭一 宗教), the 19th generation SŌKE (十九代宗家) lives and teaches.
