description of the school
Yuwakan is the only Aikikai-affiliated aikido dojo in the Houston Heights area. It is located at NiaMoves dance studio on 3221 Houston Avenue, Houston TX 77009. Yuwakan is a member dojo of the Shudokan School of Aikido in Houston, which is affiliated to Aikikai Foundation in Tokyo, Japan. Shihan Hiroshi Kato, eighth degree black belt, is the Master Instructor at this school.
