description of the school
This school of martial arts was founded in July 2006 by Sensei Dave Waters. Sensei Waters has derived the school after many years of study in different martial arts including karate, aikido, iaido, judo, kyudo and wing chun.
It's guiding principle is that all Martial Arts are basically the same in their mode of operation and as such we practice a number of traditional Japanese martial arts (budo) as one art form.
Our aim is to develop self-control, confidence, discipline and non-violence through dedicated study. The emphasis is on relaxed, flowing movements. Open your mind and train your body.
All instructors of children are CRB checked. All instructors have valid insurance. The training facilities have matted areas for safety. You will have peace of mind training with Ryusui-ryu.
