description of the school
The Zen Living Martial Arts Centre is the home of Renseikan Dojo which is a full-time martial arts school located in Pickering, Ontario. We provide instruction in the traditional martial arts of Shorin-Ryu Karate, Yoshinkan Aikido and Shindo Muso Ryu Jodo. In addition to basic and advanced martial arts skills, each of our disciplines also contains a self-defense component. Our chief instructor, Ward Jardine, has been training students in the Durham Region (Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa) and east Toronto area (Scarborough) for the past 25 years.
