description of the school
Aikido is a non-violent Japanese martial art that teaches to blend with an attack and redirect it, instead of harming or injuring one's opponent. This principle reaches far beyond the domain of training: at our dojo we practice Aikido as a peaceful way of living that teaches us to love and nurture all that lives around us. Therefore we train vigorously but safely, with utmost care for one another.
