description of the school
Park City Aikido is directly associated with Wagokan, Aikido Suren Dojo which is located in Osaka, Japan and is fully accredited with World Aikikai Headquarters, Hombu Dojo, Tokyo. Wagokan Dojo was founded by Masao Yamano Sensei who enjoyed a close relationship with O Sensei. Today his son, Koho Yamano, continues the tradition and the teaching with the assistance of Hayata Sensei, Egawa Sensei and Oeda Sensei. We also enjoy an ongoing and fruitful relationship with Ishikawa Sensei, (6th Dan) who also teaches in Osaka, Japan.
