description of the school
The Ohio Moo Duk Kwan was founded over 40 years ago by Master Lynn Jackson, 8th degree black belt Grand Master, from Oberlin, Ohio. He brought this art from Korea, where he learned it from Tang Soo Do masters while stationed as a GI in the Korean war. He tested for his first Dan (black belt) under Grandmaster and founder Hwang Kee in 1960. He has since trained thousands of people all over the United States, including police, members of the Cleveland Browns, and numerous instructors in the United States.
