We teach a Northern Kung fu system that includes the Northern Shaolin style and mainly the Chaquan style.
Chaquan Kung fu (pronounced Cha chuan and sometimes spelled Zhaquan ) is one of the most popular northern style of Kung fu in China. It emphasizes quick footwork with sudden changes of direction and pauses in steady stances to evade and deceive the opponent, as well as sudden leaps and jumps. The style uses straight line techniques as well as circular movements, combined with lots of kicks, sweeps and throws.
