The Kyu Shin Do style of Aikido was introduced to New Zealand in 1980, by the late Sensei Ron Russell, 5th Dan.
yu Shin Do Aikido (North Shore) is affiliated to the Institute of Aikido in the UK, Institute of Aikido New Zealand and the Aikido Association of New Zealand. Mr H. Foster, 7th Dan is technical director of the Institute of Aikido in the UK and New Zealand.
