KANAZAWA SHOTOKAN RYU is a traditional Shotokan Karate dojo based in Bannockburn, Central Scotland. Originally founded in 1982 by its Chief Instructor, Jim Palmer (a 6th Dan of the SHOTOKAN KARATE-DO INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION), the school is dedicated to teaching the traditional and ethical values of KARATE-DO (the Way or Path of the Empty Hand) as taught by the legendary Japanese master HIROKAZU KANAZAWA (10th Dan) Kancho.
