Welcome to the Isshinkan Aikido web-site, located in Vancouver, Canada.
Aikido is a Japanese martial art that combines throws, locks and holds with the philosophy of its founder, Morihei Ueshiba, commonly known as O'Sensei. Aikido's main emphasis is on non-resistance and using the opponents force against himself.
The Isshinkan Dojo has an open door policy for new members and visiting aikidoka.
