description of the school
Illini Aikido/Seiryukan Dojo is affiliated with Nihon Bugei Shinjinkai, an association of instructors and students united by a common goal: bettering ourselves and society through disciplined training in the martial Ways (Budo) and Zen. Shinjinkai Aikido dojo are under the guidance of T.K. Chiba Shihan, Chief Instructor of San Diego Aikikai and director of the United States Aikido Federation, Western Region.
Any sincere person of any level of experience in any martial art is welcome to join us or participate in our events. Beginners are always welcome. Please bring clothes suitable for working out.
