description of the school
The Gibsons Aikido Dojo was established in 1999 by Chief Instructor, Allen Wynne, 3rd degree black belt.
Having studied various martial arts since childhood Allen began his Aikido training in 1990 and his Systema journey in 2005. Allen Is passionate about his training and is constantly upgrading his skills, traveling frequently to train with high-level instructors.
As a Shiatsu therapist, Allen has been practicing since 1994. His unique sense of touch is comfortable, firm, and healing. Allen is a past member of the Shiatsu Therapy Association of BC and holds diplomas in Zen Shiatsu and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Our school is closely linked with Aikido Eastside, Pacific Coast Systema and Systema Northwest.
