description of the school
The Charlotte Aikikai is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the instruction of the Japanese martial art of Aikido. Our dojo is affiliated with the Aikido Schools of Ueshiba (ASU) and the World Aikido Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
The Charlotte Aikikai is an equal opportunity organization, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, ethnic group, religion, age, or sexual orientation.
Our head instructor is Charles Huff, a fourth degree black belt who has been studying and teaching Aikido since 1984.
