Basically training involves the use of relaxed body movement to stay safe and survive confrontations in today’s society. We train in the practical use of striking, throwing, evasion, blocking, rolling, break falling, nerve and muscle attacks and joint locking. This training, though predominantly practiced unarmed, also involves the use, and defense against, a variety of traditional Japanese weapons.
