Aikido is a Japanese Martial Art founded by Morihei Ueshiba, O'Sensei. In Aikido, size and strength are minimized as the attack is redirected and the attacker controlled. The student not only learns self defense and self confidence, but develops flexibility, coordination and an awareness of self and others. Aikido is a healthy activity that is suitable for ages from 7 upwards, where students of all levels work together in a helping, supportive environment.
